You never really know other peoples struggles when it comes to body acceptance. So that’s why I have a deep appreciation when my clients show their vulnerability not only to me, but for others to connect with as well.
What was the main reason for choosing to do a Boudoir session?
Increase my confidence
Starting to accept the way I am
Step out my comfort zone
And a gift for the 18th anniversary of meeting my husband
How did you feel on the lead up to your photo shoot? And once you were here?
Very nervous – did not sleep the night before
What was your favourite part of your boudoir session and why?
Every part 🙂 the make up (having someone doing the make up and taking care of your hair always very relaxing), the organisation (all outfits organised in advance), the advise for each pose, chat and laughs throughout.
How did you feel when you saw your images for the first time?
“Oh gosh- is it really my body?!”…it’s the first time in 42 years that I have accepted my body as it is!!!
The pictures are really artistic and the results amazing!
Has a boudoir session changed the way you feel about yourself? And or helped you with your confidence in anyway?
It helps me to accept my body as it is…I went from bulimia to anorexia to back to bulimia… weighting anything from 48 to 80 kilos…I really struggle to accept my body image … this boudoir session is a first step towards acceptance!!!
THANK YOU LOUISE and IEVA
